Short Take On Google Chromecast-2.

Google has launched chromecast 2 long ago and the best part is that its becoming popular in India.
Yes, you heard me right! Google Chromecast 2 is basically a media streaming device which helps you to stream media faster and trust me it works!
Using the same Wi-Fi connection, we can stream a video much better as compared to streaming an online video in PC. It offers you a beautiful opportunity to turn your TV into a smart one. You just need an HDMI input and rest is all upto the device.
Initial Setup:-

• Connect the chromecast to HDMI port, you need to plug its power either to an USB input provided on the TV or you can use a separate adaptor included with the device.

• Using Google Home App, you can setup this device by connecting it to Wi-Fi and you are done!

Usability:-
Its a very useful gadget compared to its pricing (3000 INR) as you can directly watch a video played from your mobile and the entire video is streamed by the device itself. You can even switch off your mobile as the streaming doesn’t depend on your mobile.
Some games has been launched in Chromecast platform, which turns your mobile to a game pad but for this you need a good Wi-Fi connection in order to cope up with the screen lag.
But as a whole, its a really good product as seldom you will find it will buffer in the middle of an online video and also video rendering quality is really good as it supports upto 1080p. Using Netflix, you can also stream dolby digital sound online for more immersive audio experience.
Personal Opinion:-
Most of the smart TVs are provided with miracast feature which is just used for screen mirroring but adding this device with your smart TV makes it more usable on daily basis.
The device is really compact and hence you can always carry it on a holiday trip as most of the standard hotels are provided with TVs and Wi-Fi facilities. As it supports, screen mirroring too, you can also see the snaps you have taken in your mobile in a larger screen.
I would say its a must buy product for all around entertainment and gradually it shall become an integral part of your life. Google has also introduced the backdrop features by which you can see various images and also your facebook photos as a slideshow when the device is ideal. Nice feature eh!
Those who are expecting a 4k streaming, Google hasn’t launched its 4k enabled chromecast yet in India but the rumours are that it will be launched soon with a price tag of around 6000 INR which is also a good deal at this price range. One can also use Google Chromecast 2 as the upscaling engines in today’s televisions are excellent.
